335f8c5100 Update to PMIx 3.1.2 
Update the OPAL glue configure code to correctly link the opal/pmix3
component to the hwloc used by OMPI instead of defaulting to the
system-level hwloc. Required a corresponding update to the PMIx hwloc
configure code so we treat hwloc the same way we handle libevent in
embedded scenarios. Roll to PMIx v3.1.2 for plugging of memory leaks and
addition of faster PMIx_Get response

3e2cc6f46a Fail configure if pmix won't build 
If we are using the internal PMIx component and the embedded library fails to configure, then fail - don't silently fail to build and then fail in execution

36d7e752b6 I think we have all concluded that there is no good answer to locating the external libevent library, so surrender to the situation and simply remove that requirement. Users wanting to utilize the embedded PMIx library can install it, but will have to use mpicc _and_ add an explicit -lpmix to their cmd line to compile their application.

8fbfe68754 Alter the PMIx embedded configuration so that we can build static with devel headers - if the builder requests that we install a separate libpmix, then don't prefix the PMIx variables.

c696e04c5e Since PMIx is moving to release v3.0, embed the new release candidate in opal/pmix framework. Move the pmix2x code over to the ext2x component. Create a new ext3x component 
Remove some build product. Tell PMIx that we don't need a new nspace generated when OMPI calls connect
Add missing Makefile

8113a8d1b0 Now that we are hiding symbols in the internal PMIx component, we cannot reuse that component for integration to the external PMIx master as the symbols don't match. So create a new "ext3x" component and copy the PMIx v3 integration over there. 
Also, remove a couple of build-product files from the pmix3x component.

0ea1cff733 Implement notification of completion on comm_spawn'd child jobs. Add a configure flag to enable PMIx 3's shared memory datastore, and set it disable by default so that comm_spawn functions again. Will reverse the default once that feature is fully functional 2016-09-01 13:10:10 -07:00
